We realize we haven't taken a moment to introduce ourselves so we just wanted to say hello and welcome to Pocket Market!

 

Who are we?

We are collectors who grew up with a love of strange creatures called Pocket Monsters. Everything from the name of our brand to the colours of our logo are inspired by the origins of this franchise. 

Similar to the video games, we discovered there are many different ways to enjoy the Pokémon trading card game; some people like to battle, others like to gamble on packs, but the one thing that our team had in common is that we all wanted to do nothing more than collect!

This love quickly turned into a mutual obsession to find the best cards at the best condition, which is what led us to Japanese cards and products - as they are simply the highest quality Pokémon cards around. 

 

What we do?

We got tired of hunting through eBay listings and running around card shops to find Japanese cards, and any in good condition at that.

Pocket Market is simply the solution to this problem. 

We wanted to create a space where you can guarantee that you are going to be receiving a mint condition Pokémon card, and where you can find the Japanese cards you are looking for without having to order from over seas.

We do all the work sourcing the cards and products directly from Japan and importing them to Canada. That way by the time you are on our site and ready to order, your cards are already in our office in Toronto and ready to be shipped directly to you. 

 

Why we do it?

Besides providing the best quality Japanese Pokémon cards, we do this simply because of our love for this hobby & this franchise. 

Since our childhood, playing with and collecting Pokémon cards has brought us so much joy and allowed us to connect and share that joy with others. We are so grateful that we can do that on a daily basis with each of you!

Being able to do this with Japanese Pokémon cards is just icing on the cake, as we get to share cards from the root of where it all started (we love you Japan). In our opinion this is the best way to collect our favourite cards, and we get to share that notion with everyone who interacts with us.
